The contributions made by military veterans to world peace, national security and societal advancement over nearly 250 years of U.S. history are as varied as their personalities and backgrounds. Our oral histories tell real-life stories of service first-hand – such as life as a medic, combat operations, humanitarian missions, artillery barrages, bugle calls, trench digging and levee building.
The Military Heritage Museum is on a mission to record and share as many oral histories from U.S. veterans as possible. Some of these videos can be read on our website, while others are on special display in our galleries and still others can be enjoyed in our theater and individual kiosks.
Connect, discover and engage with these living stories – and check in periodically as we will continue to add to our story collection.
