Located near the entrance to the auditorium, the Military Heritage Museum’s Special Exhibits Hall will host rotating exhibits on loan to the Museum for public viewing.

Opening Exhibit: The Seminole Wars

The first limited-run exhibit will tell the stories of the Seminole Wars. Our museum staff has worked carefully with Seminole tribes in Southwest Florida to gain a better understanding of this series of conflicts with the U.S. Army spanning from 1816 to 1858.

The Seminole Wars exhibit will feature numerous rare artifacts and perspectives courtesy of the Seminole tribes and allow visitors to connect, discover and engage with both sides of this lengthy, costly and oft-overlooked chapter in our military history.
